2025 FALL REGISTRATION IS OPEN until september 13th at midnight!!

NEW! This fall 6-week long season will consist of one night orientation/workshop and five weeks of shooting (50 birds/night).

All eligible students (see important info below) interested in joining BHSTT may now participate in the fall program without prior BGCYP experience. Participation in either at least one BGCYP season OR Fall BHSTT is required to be invited to the Spring 2026 competition season. Please check below for all eligibility requirements!

Important info:

  1. Potential team members must be in grades 9-12, attend Buffalo High School or be homeschooled and live in the district, and have successfully completed their MN Firearm Safety and shown proof of completion. Students living within the district who open-enroll in other schools are not eligible to join BHSTT. Our team is so large that we regret we cannot make exceptions to this rule.

*Please note that all potential BHSTT 2026 Spring Team members must have completed at least one season in the Buffalo Gun Club Youth Program or be a prior fall or spring BHSTT team member (non-negotiable).

  2. BHSTT Fall now allows new-to-BHSTT athletes who fulfill team residency and other requirements to join without prior BHSTT or BGCYP participation.

  3. Students must be in good standing with the school and community to be considered for inclusion on team. Trust us, we know and we check!

  4. BHSTT is an ancillary activity run completely autonomous of the Buffalo High School, therefore participation in BHSTT is a privilege, not a right. The head coaches have the right to refuse participation on the team to any individual.

  5. Cost for athletes = $200 (5 weeks of shells/rounds/supplies/coaching).

  6. Athletes will be assigned a specific 30-minute shoot time each week and are to arrive 15 minutes prior to shooting time, and complete 2 consecutive 25-bird rounds (50 birds total).

  7. Attendance is mandatory, including practices. An unexcused absence is enough to warrant dismissal from the team.

These guidelines, as well as others not listed here, are meant to provide a safe, supportive environment for team members, coaches and our volunteers. Thanks in advance for supporting our mission to empower youth to achieve personal and competition success through shotgun sports!
